UPDATE 2/26/19: Randi Boothe-Wilson’s remains were found 23 years ago in Jacksonville, NC.  They were just identified in February 2019.  Cause of death is undetermined, but foul play is suspected due to the location of her remains.

Randi Stacey Boothe-Wilson, age 33, was last seen in Westchester, New York on October 28, 1994.

Randi was a mother of three, and a former Marine.  She had recently separated from her husband, Earle Wilson, who was also a Marine and was stationed in California.

Randi had only been back in New York for a short time, and was staying with Earle’s mother in Westchester, New York with her children. She’d found work as a security guard in lower Manhattan.

On October 28, she departed the home, headed to her sister Xenia’s place in Flushing.  She never arrived.

Earle was in the New York area at the time of Randi’s disappearance, on a military approved visit with his children.  He stated that Randi attempted to give him her wedding ring, but he would not accept it, so she left it in a car ash tray.

He also stated he’d found letters she’d written to her children in one of her suitcases.  The letters, according to Earle, were undated, and said that she loved them but wouldn’t be around.  It’s unknown if these letters were seen by anyone other than Earle.

Randi was driving a blue minivan when she vanished.  Earle also claimed that Randi called him the following day, asking him to pick up the van at a location he thought was in Manhattan.  There are conflicting accounts of where the car was located – Namus states it was found on 33rd Street in Manhattan, while a news article mentions it being found just a couple blocks from her sister’s home in Queens. Due to this, some sources state she was last seen in Manhattan.

In January, 1995, Randi’s sister’s residence was burglarized.  The only thing stolen was the title to Randi’s van. It spooked her enough to cause her to move.

Randi has never been found.

  1. It sounds like the soon to be ex husband was involved and staged the letters to her children, and giving back her wedding band story. I hope he was looked into.
