Lisa Dianne Jameson, age 23, vanished from Chandler, Arizona on November 4, 1991.

She was last seen near Chandler Boulevard and McQueen Road at approximately 7:15am, when she dropped off a co-worker after completing the graveyard shift at Motay Electronics in Chandler. He stated that nothing appeared out of the ordinary.

Her red Pontiac LeMans was found abandoned a month later in the parking lot of an adult bookstore at 4039 E. Washington Street in Phoenix, Arizona.  There were several signs of a struggle.  The rear view mirror was broken, and footprints were visible on the ceiling.  The emergency brake shifter was bent, there was a large brown stain on the passenger back seat, a red fingernail lay on the floor in the back seat, and a substance consistent with detergent or sand remained both on the back seat, and in the trunk. The lock to the trunk was also busted.

Lisa was married to Alan Jameson at the time of her disappearance.  They lived in nearby Gilbert, Arizona and had a two year old son.

According to Lisa’s mother, Lisa had visited the day before her disappearance.  She’d told her mother that she believed she was pregnant, and that she was nervous to tell Alan, because he did not want any more children.  Lisa’s family suspects that Alan was involved in her disappearance, although there is no evidence to link him to the case.

Lisa’s clothing and belongings remained in the apartment she shared with Alan, and there has been no activity on her credit cards or bank accounts since she was last seen.

Alan was a jail guard in 1991, and he moved to Bolivia in 1993.  Their son was adopted by Lisa’s parents, and is now an accomplished musician.  He does not have contact with his father, though Alan has since remarried and returned to the US.

The website of Lisa’s son, Kyle Collins, can be found here.
