Sarah Lee Murray, age 14, vanished from Kenbridge, Virginia on February 18, 1997.
In 1995, Sarah had moved to a relative’s home in Kenbridge from Chesterfield County, Virginia. Less than a week after she moved, her mother was killed in a car accident while en route to visit her.
The circumstances of her disappearance are unknown, but some seem to believe she left of her own accord.
Sarah speaks Spanish, and may be in the company of Hispanic friends, or of an adult male.
She was known to frequent Richmond, Virginia, and may use the name Susana.
In recent years, police have tried contacting her friends on social media, but were unable to find anyone who had seen Sarah since her disappearance.
It’s odd that even police don’t seem to know how she vanished, and are still trying to determine how it occurred. Yet, someone knew what she was wearing, as there is a pretty detailed clothing description.
My best guess, since she disappeared on a Tuesday, is that she was seen in the morning, therefore, someone knew what she was wearing. I’m thinking maybe she never arrived home from school, or that her guardian was at work and came home to find her gone.
Someone has to know what happened to Sarah.
